I'm so excited to announce that I will be working with filmmaker Jeff Heimbuch of Bamfer Productions, Jeff has been one of my best friends since I have been 15 or 16 years old, and with an extensive background in various types of film- he's going to begin work in my favorite genre: ROMANCE!

I'll begin to offer packages with video included in both the engagement session and the wedding, however this won't be your average wedding video with slide cuts and fades... this will be a cinematic production. I can't wait till our first shoot together so I can show exactly what I mean.

I don't think I've ever been more excited for a collaboration!

I'll also be offering a high resolution digital proofs DVD for $200, with a letter stating that you can have them printed at your local Walgreens/CVS etc. (A lot of them will not give you your prints without this letter!)

I like to think of every wedding as a fairytale coming true- I want to create the images for your story!

Editing has been engulfing my schedule... here's some engagement & wedding goodness. :)

I also spent a week in North Carolina with family, where I used my favorite girl as a subject... she tried to be on her best behavior... but the sand was too tempting and she rolled around in it. She's adorable regardless.

Rainy Days & Puppies

The weather has been crazy lately- sweltering hot, then cold & rainy. The rain gave me a chance to spend the afternoon inside with my two big puppies (not really.. they're 4 years old.. but they'll always be puppies to me.) I think pet photography is quickly becoming my favorite.. there's no concern over whether a dog is smiling or how to make them happy.. biscuits and ear scratches basically cure everything.

I have two shoots (wedding & engagement) coming up soon, so I will be posting more asap!

Music, Balloons, & Babies, OH MY!

Recently photographed some local bands at a firehouse show and finally got done with my piles of holiday work. I'm booking weddings for the upcoming season & I LOVE doing newborn baby sessions.

Did some studio work over the holidays.. which is not my schtick.. I'm a natural lighting/gentle candid/play in a meadow kind of photographer. However upon asking a friend of mine if I could fill his living room with balloons (for fun.. not work), he asked if I could photograph his family in a balloon pit- after 300+ balloons, sore fingers from tying knots, and lots of wrangling overgrown men who act like toddlers at the sight of balloons, this was the result, it's fun & completely suits the family:

I shot these last weekend at Princeton University with Brianne & Adam. We were hoping for some trees with the fall colors still in play- but we were a little late.

I still got some great shots and had a lot of fun with the couple! I couldn't get over their chemistry and how playful they were!

I still have a bunch more to edit from this shoot! I'll probably post a few more once I get them all done!

For anyone that knows me, they know fall is my favorite time of year, and I've been dying to get out and play in this weather! My friend Carlotta & her boyfriend Patrick were willing participants! They were amazing, I don't think I could have asked for a more fun & in love couple!

All images on the site can be made black and white, or sepia. Below the thumbnail, is a small circle you can click that allows you to view the image as either option (if the photo already is displayed in black and white, it is not available in color).

Also, I also have available metallic prints which are almost a glittery print. They look great if it is a larger print that is to be displayed in a well lit area, they really shine.

Purchase photos by clicking on any image and selecting "Add", they will be added to your shopping cart, and when you're done- you can check out and your prints will be shipped to you!

If you are interested in purchasing a 100+ prints, (3x5 or 4x6's) shoot me an email and I will work out a deal for you.

I will be making an album for Joe & Tina as well, which I will be making available as well later down the line, anyone who views the photo album online will recieve an e-mail notification about it's availability.

Last night was the Lichtmann wedding and let me tell you, it was a BLAST!!!

I've known the family personally for what feels like my entire life and it was a total pleasure to do the photography for Joe & Tina. I've only just met Tina, but upon meeting her, it is easy to see that she is a complete sweetheart and so much fun; she truly brings out the life in Joe.

Baby Dave

Baby Dave is probably the most adorable thing ever. He has the BIGGEST blue eyes and a mohawk. Which is totally awesome on every level. As soon as I held up the camera, any trace of a smile was gone- but he's cute regardless.

I was able to bring L.B. & Tessie into the studio last week so I could shoot them on the white backdrop, here are some of the results:

I've had the backdrop for over a year and this was the first time using it- I might actually do some more studio work because I love the look of a person (or a puppy!) in a big white room.
